We are open and doing well...

We've been open for about 2 weeks now and the carts came off the paths on Thursday. The greens have been mowed, rolled and the cups are being changed regularly.

The bunkers haven't been addressed, but however they will be sometime after April 1st.

The tree trimming from the winter has had responses, some good some bad. We still have some trimming left to do the #9 tee box and #15 tee box. These will be done as time allows.

Old man winter left us with some turf in great shape, I've always said frozen ground and snow cover is my best friend. We do have some snow mold on the fairways in which the turf is already growing through any damage to it.

The range tee might have the covers taken off by the end of next week, weather depending. Once the covers are off the turf,it will need a few days to acclimate to the weather still causing the range mats to be used.

Finally, Spring...

Well, Hoping Mother Nature helps us out here, we should be OPEN for golf on the course on Saturday March 6th.

The course will be having carts available to be used on the paths only. It is quite imperative that carts MUST stay on the paths.

This is the time of the season where frost is still coming out of the ground, and with heavy traffic on thawing turf, cart traffic will damage the crown of the plants. The crown is where all the growth of the leaves and root mass comes from.

We also will have wet spots on the course and pudding of water in low spots. Bunkers will not be attended to until further notice. Tee markers are not available at his time due to refinshing of the markers.
